To believe your own thought, to believe that what is true for you in your private heart is true for all men, -- that is genius. Trust thyself: every heart vibrates to that iron string.
I believe that this quote is very true because multiple times in different classes I have though of an idea that I think is very unique and it seems that always someone else thinks of the same idea. I think that this applies to the quote because Ralph says in the quote "to believe that what is true for you in your private heart is true for all men" which I believe describes it perfectly. I also believe what the quote is saying is that even though you may think you live in a world were everyone is a duplicate of one another you are still unique in your own way, and that is true genius.
A good start. You understand the quote . I like the insight you have brought to this answer. Next time, I would like to see you develop your thoughts by referring back to the quote a bit more as you mention more points. This will help elaborate on what you are trying to say. You want to try and expand on what you are showing. Can you bring in any connections to this quote as well. Overall, you are off to a good start.
